Where We Are and Where We Can Go

We'll take a break from all of the General Convention posts to share a presentation I made to our parish this week.

On Wednesday, June 17th, I presented Where We Are and Where We Can Go.  Based on my congregational study and other research, I shared a variety of information about the current situation at St. John's and its implications for the future.  Included were parish strengths; data about age, giving, ministry involvement, and worship attendance by various cohorts of parish households; Natural Church Development scores; census demographic data; information about the dechurched and the unchurched; and two possible directions the church might go in the future.
