Why The Black Giraffe?

The Black Giraffe is the nickname my youngest daughter gave me as a relatively tall person in black priest's clothes. Giraffes also exhibit qualities of good priests -- graceful, observant, comfortable with themselves, contemplative (or at least soft of speech) with a compelling presence, and being a whole lot stronger than they might first appear.
